Credit Controller - Thame Depot

Location: Thame, Oxfordshire, OX9 2NZ

Farol is a very profitable and fast-growing family owned company with a turnover approaching £100m. As one of the UK's leading John Deere dealerships, we employ over 240 people of which 120 are based at our Head Office near Thame, where we centrally administrate for the group.

Recent business expansion and a 30% increase in turnover means we are currently looking for one or more experienced Credit Controllers to join our growing company.

Key roles and responsibilities include leading the following tasks:

  • Producing Invoice and statement runs and sending out to customers
  • Allocation of bank, cheque, cash and card payments to accounts
  • Chasing of overdue accounts and invoices by telephone, email and letter
  • Dealing with customer invoice queries and liaising with staff members to settle the query
  • Setting up of credit accounts and sending out credit account forms
  • Daily cash up of cash sales invoices
  • Updating account information
  • Maintain effective communication between customers and colleagues at all times to ensure an efficient and smooth service and customer satisfaction

The successful candidate will have extensive previous experience of working in a Credit Control role and will have strong customer service skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.

Tyre Fitters - Shefford Depot

Workshop Parts Assistant - Thame Depot

Established in 1976 and now employing over 200 people, we are the market leaders in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products, holding the market leading John Deere franchise along with many other brands

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Agricultural Workshop Parts Sales Assistant to join our busy Aftersales department. 

As a key member of the team, you will assist our Technicians by ordering and picking the parts from our suppliers that they require on a day to day basis.  You will also:

  • Receive stock, pick, and ship parts inventory to support the needs of service
  • Escalate any issues that need to be addressed to correct any inbound part issues from our internal and external suppliers
  • Communicate estimated parts ship and arrival time, including regular updates

 The role will suit someone with Parts experience, ideally in the Agricultural industry (though other industries will be considered) or someone with a farming/agricultural back ground who is familiar with the industry, machinery and terminology -  knowledge of techniques/parts/tools/materials used in the maintenance and repair of agricultural and construction machinery would be preferred.

Parts/Warehouse Assistant - Twyford Depot

Location: Hare Hatch, Twyford, RG10 9EQ

Established in 1976 and now employing 250 people, we are the market leaders in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products, holding the market leading John Deere franchise along with many other brands

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Parts & Warehouse Assistant to join our busy Parts department at our new Twyford depot.

As a key member of the team, your role will involve: 

  • Taking delivery of goods
  • Preparing goods for despatch
  • Putting goods away in the stock rooms
  • Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date
  • Locating and supplying spare parts to customers
  • Promoting and selling a wide range of showroom items and Aftersales services.

The role will suit someone with Parts experience, ideally in the Golf & Turf or Agricultural industry (though other industries will be considered) or someone with a golf/groundcare/farming/agricultural back ground who is familiar with the industries, machinery and terminology.

We would also consider someone with no industry experience/knowledge if you have previous warehouse experience (a forklift licence would be an advantage).

Warranty Administrator - Thame Depot

Location: Thame, Oxfordshire, OX9 2NZ

Farol Ltd is looking for a Warranty Administrator to join our Head Office Aftersales Department.

Your role will be to assist with the day to day running of the Warranty Department, with the key purpose being to ensure all warranty KPI and deadlines are maintained and hit to maximize profitability.

Main duties will include preparing and processing warranty claims in a timely fashion whilst ensuring no penalties are incurred, and liaising with depot technicians in order to obtain the correct information for the warranty claim processing.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role within Warranty administration.
