Parts Assistant - Hinckley

Due to ongoing business growth, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Parts Assistant to join our busy Aftersales department at our Hinckley depot. As a key member of the team, you will actively promote and sell a wide range of spares and Aftersales services whilst also supplying technicians in the workshop with their required parts.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the Agricultural/Golf & Turf industry and also be familiar with John Deere and competitive products. However, applicants with a Parts background from other industries will be considered.

Package details

Working hours are 8am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday (5pm in winter months) plus Saturday cover on a rotation basis but a degree of flexibility is required. We can offer a very competitive salary and bonus scheme for the right candidate, plus benefits (pension scheme, up to 25 days holiday)

Sales Coordinator (Maternity Cover) - Head Office (Thame)

Location: Thame

Established in 1976 and now employing over 240 people, we are the market leaders in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products, holding the market leading John Deere franchise along with many other brands.

Our Milton Common (Thame) Head Office currently has a vacancy for a full time Sales Coordinator on a fixed term basis of approximately 12-18 months.

Working within the Sales Administration team, the role is to work closely with and providing general administrative support to Farol’s Sales Managers, on both the Agriculture and Groundcare side.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ordering Equipment
  • Processing Sales Tickets
  • Processing Finance Quotes
  • Raising Finance Documents
  • Chasing Finance Houses for Pay-Outs
  • Processing Stock Orders
  • Supporting Adhoc requests that come into Sales Admin Inbox
  • Allocating Finance and Customer Deposits Payments
  • Updating Deals in process so that everyone is aware of the status of the deal
  • Supporting the Finance Manager/Directors
  • Work closely with the sales team
  • Raising Invoice and Credit notes for customer accounts and finance house

Previous experience of working in a Sales Coordination or Support role is essential and a knowledge of Asset Finance helpful.

The right candidate will have the below skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

CRM/Sales Administrator - Milton Common

Location: Milton Common - OX9 2NY

Farol is a very successful and fast-growing family owned company with a turnover of £100m. As one of the UK's leading John Deere dealerships we employ over 240 people, of which 120 are based at our Head Office near Thame, where we centrally administrate for the group.

As CRM/Sales Administrator, your role will be a mixed and varied position that will comprise of two main elements. Firstly, to help ensure the smooth running of our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system and supporting salesman and others in the use thereof. You will look to play an integral role in ensuring we are “powered by data” through our sales and marketing departments.  Secondly, you will carry out duties relating to Sales Administration which encompass everything from ordering machinery through to invoicing.

 This role will report into the Sales Coordination & Finance Manager and Finance Director.

 Your main duties will be as follows:

 CRM Administration

  • Maintain product catalogues between Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and Dealer Business System (DBS)
  • Ensure stock records are uploaded daily between the DBS and CRM.
  • Ensure customer records are synchronized between the CRM and DBS.
  • Input campaigns into the CRM (marketing campaigns, demo campaigns, competitive conversion program, product campaigns).
  • Review and analyse effectiveness of campaigns and report into Sales Directors.
  • Work closely with the sales team in the use of the system.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure closing out of actions in a timely fashion.  
  • Generate tasks for the sales team from the data. (finance expiration, age of machine, warranty end date).

 Sales Administration

  • Order wholegood machinery
  • Invoice wholegood machinery

Key requirements

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a data-processing role and will have: 

  • Strong data processing skills – the ability to interpret and process data with a high level of speed and accuracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid IT skills – intermediate ability with MS Word, Excel and Outlook along with the ability to quickly pick up the use of new software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Trainee Showroom Sales Assistant - Hinckley

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Hinckley depot as Trainee Showroom Sales Assistant. Your role will be to promote and sell homeowner machinery and equipment to the general public. You will also be responsible for the presentation of products in the showroom, keeping stock up to date, and taking a proactive approach to increase the customer footfall into the Hinckley showroom to maximise sales. The role will also involve moving stock from the yard to the showroom, delivering sold machinery to our customer's premises and taking machinery to prospective customer's premises for demonstrations, therefore a driving license is essential (and a trailer license would be even better!)

The ideal candidate will have some level of retail sales experience and keen to pursue a career in this field. Due to the nature of the products you will be selling, a degree of familiarity with the garden machinery industry/the products you will be selling (i.e. John Deere and Stihl homeowner mowing/garden & groundscare maintenance machinery) would be an advantage. However, full training will be provided.

Hours of work are 8am - 5/5.30pm Monday to Fridays with Saturday mornings on a rota basis. A very competitive salary and commission scheme is on offer for the right candidate.

Warehouse & Parts Assistant - Midhurst

Location: Midhurst, West Sussex

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse & Parts Assistant to join our busy Parts department at our Midhurst depot.

As a key member of the team, your role will involve:

  • Taking delivery of goods
  • Preparing goods for dispatch
  • Putting goods away in the stock rooms
  • Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date
  • Locating and supplying spare parts to customers
  • Promoting and selling a wide range of showroom items and Aftersales services.

 

The role will suit someone with Parts experience, ideally in the Golf & Turf or Agricultural industry (though other industries will be considered) or someone with a golf/groundcare/farming/agricultural back ground who is familiar with the industries, machinery and terminology.

We would also consider someone with no industry experience/knowledge if you have previous warehouse experience (a forklift licence would be an advantage).

  • Utilising our scheduler and planning tools, allocating work for the technicians based on their expertise and skill
  • Developing retail sales revenue through the promotion of both the Service and Parts departments to both existing and new customers
